this is a handprinted spring pattern we designed and have shown since 1998 in our collection, the process behind this peice is donjon wooden print tables and the fabric is pinned down on the table and the craftsman pass the colors back and forth across the table with a wooden board, on top of the pattern that is hand cut into a screen , making sure the pattern is lined up correctly between colors, this eaten dries in the sun on the line for a day. We then wrap this in a cotton canvas in a small ball, and put it in a dumpling steamer over a fire, to set the color. This piece has coordinated woven stripe borders and this is all done on a handwoven twill cashmere.
care: use a mild detergent like savon de Marseilles in tepid or cold water, or we suggest dry cleaning, for protection against moths, we recommend you store in a ziplock bag
